Laser Hair Removal

Light Sheer - Free Consultation -prices vary depending on treatment area.

A laser produces a beam of highly concentrated light. The light emitted by the LightSheer diode laser is well absorbed by the pigment located in hair follicles. During the procedure, the laser pulses for a fraction of a second, long enough to heat up the hair and significantly impede the follicle's ability to regrow. This process also treats numerous hair follicles simultaneously. Therefore, LightSheer is appropriate for treating even the largest areas of the body quickly and effectively.

IPL

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology is treatment breakthrough that can correct a variety of benign skin conditions, such as facial skin imperfections, the signs of photo-aging, birthmarks, unwanted hair, unsightly small veins and other blemishes. It is a non-invasive treatment that treats skin damage without disruption of the skin's surface, hence, no "down time".

Aluma

Aluma skin renewal treatments turn back the clock and gently reverse the aging process. This revolutionary technique delivers energy safely and comfortably to the underlying layers of the skin, gently stimulating the production of new collagen, while protecting the outer layer of the skin. The new collagen that is formed plumps and smoothes the skin, making it appear more youthful.

The Aluma hand piece uses vacuum to fold the skin, ensuring contact and positioning the dermis in direct alignment with the path of radio frequency. The combination of this vacuum positioning and the use of topical conductive coupling medium concentrate heat deep in the dermis, leading to collagen contraction and regeneration. The result is predictable, effective treatment that is virtually painless.

Fractional Laser Resurfacing

ActiveFX

This office-based fraction laser resurfacing procedure is done with topic anesthesia and produces subtle yet noticeable results with only a 4-5 day recovery. "Fractional" means that the laser beam leaves bridges of intact epithelium between the treated areas which allows for much faster healing time. Tone, texture and tightening are apparent immediately with less need for make-up. Ongoing tightening of the skin occurs for six months after the treatment by the formation of new collagen.

Active FX uses fractional CO2 laser to treat the skin. Older methods of CO2 laser peeling took off all the outer skin lining cells, the epithelium. This led to a much longer recovery time with redness and swelling for 6 weeks after the treatment. Most patients are usually unwilling to submit themselves to a procedure that takes that long to recover. That's one of the reasons I'm so excited about the Active FX. With only one treatment and a short recovery of 4-5 days, you get great results.
